 Intuitively eating raw living foods 

"If you listen to your body you will find the power to heal yourself"

  If there is any great advice I can share with you about Roaring through your life it is this:

"Listen to your body".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  When I got well I was not able to read, concentrate on books , TV or connect with others. It meant I had to look deep inside myself to heal. When I healed I also lived alone so it was really just myself and my own thoughts. This meant for the first time in my life when I ate food I really had to sit and process what I ate and how it made me feel. I noticed very soon  that when I ate any cooked foods even as basic as steamed cauliflower or dry roasted pumpkin, that I would be back in bed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome amongst other things. Yet it was really this CFS that meant I could only lay in my bed and not live. I thought about this and realised that when I ate raw fruits, vegetables, herbs and nuts that not only was I not having to go to bed for days I was able to complete some day to day tasks in my life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  I then listened to my body more and more and saw just how quickly I healed by following what made my body thrive. I was really drawn to higher calorie food when I first started to eat raw living vegan foods eg avocados, nuts, seeds, nut butters, dates and bananas. I also craved huge green salads which were full of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. I later discovered that the reason for craving raw green foods and vegetables was to help re build a depleted body. The reason I craved calorie dense foods was that I was very underweight (approx. 45kg) I managed to gain 15kg and my health by following what it was my body craved from the variety of raw and uncooked vegan foods. 

  As I got healthier and able to read a little better I was able to get onto platforms like Instagram and see others that were living a similar lifestyle to mine. I saw many became healthier when they cut out anything processed, heat treated, nuts and seeds, dried processed herbs, cacao, salt and fats. When I felt the time was right I have cut all of these out and my healing as increased. I want to mention here that I was healing from 32 years of bad health and cut these out to improve healing speed. I may add some of these back into my diet again as there are many nutritional benefits to them.

  The most import aspect to this is to let you find out what works for you and your body when it comes to raw living foods. Everyone's body as different needs and wants and truthfully no 2 days are the same for me when I eat this way. I have anything from juices, smoothies, salads, soups, vegetable pasta & noodles, hamburgers and tacos. I include in these fresh fruits, vegetables, fruits and roots (ie ginger, turmeric and galangal )
